Fleisher Patterson Law was founded by Stewart W. Fleisher in 1990 with a simple thesis: that estate planning, trust administration, and probate, done well, require the kind of attention only a specialist can offer. More than three decades and three thousand families later, that’s still all we do.

Where We Came From

A boutique built on referrals.

Stewart spent more than thirty years specializing in estate planning, long enough to write for the Colorado Lawyer and to teach the subject to attorneys from across the country. He built the relationships and the foundation the firm still stands on today.

He officially retired in July 2019, but he never really left. He still consults regularly with Ben on the cases that benefit from his depth of experience, which means clients keep getting the kind of representation they came to expect during his years in practice. He winters in Tucson and summers between Denver and Breckenridge.

Today the firm is led by Ben Patterson, with operations and client work run by Conner Wessel. Between them, every client gets the boutique attention Stewart designed the practice around, with the modern systems and pacing a firm needs in 2026.

Ben Patterson

Ten-plus years specialized in estate planning, administration, probate, and tax planning. Joined the firm in 2013 as a partner to Stewart, and took over as Principal Attorney and Owner when Stewart retired in 2019. Raised in southern Wisconsin; lives in Denver with his wife Jessica and their two young daughters. When he's not at the office, he's traveling with the family, on a golf course, or watching Wisconsin sports.

Conner Wessel
Operations & Client Services Manager

Conner Wessel

Joined Fleisher Patterson Law in 2018 and runs the front-end client experience and day-to-day operations of the firm. Came in from finance, where he earned his Series 7 and 66 licenses. That background is part of why he's a steady resource for clients to lean on. Born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona; B.S. in Economics from Francis Marion University on a baseball scholarship. Moved to Denver in 2017, where he lives with his partner Laurie and their Great Pyrenees, Ella. Skis, golfs, plays adult-league baseball, and roots for the Packers.

Quoted in writing before we begin. The number you see is the number you pay, regardless of how many calls, edits, or signings it takes. No retainers. No hourly billing for routine matters. No invoice surprises.

If you aren't fully satisfied after we review your documents with you, we refund anything you've paid, or we make any changes you ask for before you sign. No questions, no negotiation.

Every Deadline. Every Time.

When we put a date in writing, that's when it lands. Probate court doesn't accept “we got busy,” and neither do we. Conner's job is mostly to make sure we never have to.

We take real pride in what leaves our office. If anything in your documents falls short of what you expected, tell us. We'll correct it immediately, no charge, no excuses.

For thirty days after you sign, any changes you ask for are on us, even if it means re-signing every document. The plan is yours; we want it to fit.
