Our firm was founded over 30 years ago and has since helped thousands of families and individuals create estate plans that protect their loved ones, assets and legacies for future generations. We also help clients who have lost a loved one navigate the post-death administration process. Our team
Ben Patterson
Principal Attorney, Owner
Ben joined the firm in 2013 as a partner to Stewart W. Fleisher. He has since taken over as Principal Attorney and Owner following Stewart’s retirement in 2019. Ben has specialized in estate planning, administration, probate & tax planning for over 10 years. He leverages this experience and knowledge to provide unparalleled guidance and counsel for every client and situation. Ben’s focus is building trust and developing lasting client relationships by educating on the methods and value of proper estate planning techniques.
Ben was raised in southern Wisconsin and now resides in Denver with his wife, Jessica, and two young daughters. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for his undergraduate degree and received his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, where he served as staff editor of the Journal of Information Technology and Privacy Law and Vice President and Co-Founder of the Law and Entrepreneurial Society.
In his free time, Ben enjoys traveling with his family, golf, and remains a dedicated fan of all Wisconsin sports.
Conner Wessel
Operations & Client Services Manager
Conner joined Fleisher Patterson Law in 2018. He manages all facets of client services, serving as the front-end point of contact, to ensure an exceptional client experience. Additionally, he manages business operations for the firm. Previously, he worked in finance and earned his Series 7 & 66 securities licenses. This background and his experience with the firm make Conner a valuable resource for clients to lean on.
Conner was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He graduated from Francis Marion University in South Carolina with a B.S. in Economics while on scholarship to play for the school’s baseball team. He moved to Denver in 2017 where he lives with his partner, Laurie, and their Great Pyrenees, Ella.
Conner spends his free time skiing, golfing and playing in an adult baseball league. He is an avid fan of Major League Baseball and the Green Bay Packers.
Stewart Fleisher
Founder - Retired
Stewart officially retired from practicing law in July of 2019. He specialized in estate planning for over 30 years and built the relationships and foundation of the firm as it stands today.
Although retired, Stewart regularly consults with Ben Patterson to offer his wealth of knowledge and expertise on all matters related to estate planning. This ensures clients continue to receive the same outstanding representation they had come to expect during Stewart’s years as an attorney.
Stewart’s law degree is from the University of Denver, and he earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Stewart has written articles for the Colorado Lawyer and has taught estate planning to attorneys from all over the U.S.
He now spends his winters at his home in Tucson, Arizona and his summers in the Denver and Breckenridge areas. We are grateful to Stewart for the many relationships he developed throughout his years of practice, and his legacy lives on in the work and values that continue to serve our clients.

- 30-Day Review: During the 30-day period after you have signed your documents, we will make any changes you request at no additional charge, even if it means re-signing every document.
