You lost someone. Now there’s paperwork.

We don’t pretend the work isn’t hard. We just don’t let you do it alone. From the first steps through the final distribution, we walk every step with you, at your pace.

Who This Is For

The first call most people make is to us.

You don’t need to have it figured out before you call. That’s the whole point of the call.

You don't know where to start

There's a will or trust somewhere, accounts at multiple banks, a house, a car, a stack of bills. We help you turn the pile into a sequence.

You're carrying this for the family

Siblings have opinions but you're the one named. We give you the framework, and the confidence, to make decisions other people don't get a vote on.

There's no plan at all

Mom and dad meant to do it but never got around to it. We help you open intestate probate and walk it through to distribution under Colorado law.

You live out of state

Most of what you'll need to do can be handled remotely with our help. We become the local presence the estate needs.

You're already in over your head

Started solo, hit a wall, realized this is a job. It's not too late. We pick up where you are and take the rest.

Just lost someone?

The first consultation is free and the only thing you need to bring is yourself.

How This Goes

Four phases. As long as it takes. Done right.

Some estates can close within nine months, but most take longer. We move things along to make sure nothing gets overlooked and no one is overworked.

01

First meeting: bring everything

Death certificate, will or trust if you have it, account statements, bills, anything that looks important. We sort what matters from what doesn't.

02

The first steps

Death certificate ordering, will lodging or probate filing, EIN if needed, notification to beneficiaries, and organizing assets. The protective work that has to happen first.

03

Inventory, taxes, claims

Identify and value every asset, settle legitimate creditor claims, file the final personal tax return and any required estate or fiduciary returns.

04

Distribution and closure

Distribute what's left to the people entitled to it, with receipts and releases that protect you. Then close the estate or trust on the record.

A free consultation. No obligation.

When you're ready.

No pressure, no clock. When you're ready to start, we'll be ready to help.
